The Simon & Garfunkel Songbook

Presented by Aztec Two-Step 2.0

Narration by Tony Traguardo

This uniquely entertaining music and multimedia stage show chronicles the iconic career of Simon & Garfunkel. The music speaks for itself and is anchored by Rex Fowler, co-founder of the renowned folk/rock duo Aztec Two-Step. Rex is joined by his wife Dodie Pettit on lead guitar, keyboards, and vocals. Dodie was also an original cast member of Broadway’s greatest success story, The Phantom of the Opera. Multi-instrumentalist Steven Roues, multi-horn player Joe Meo, and drummer/percussionist Peter Hohmeister round out the band.

The show’s storyline was created by Pete Fornatale, the late great pioneer of progressive FM radio and author of Simon & Garfunkel’s Bookends biography. Now narrating, emceeing, and manning the scintillating multimedia show is WCWP radio host Tony Traguardo, co-founder of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. Nostalgia and laughter abound, and a sing-a-long is always in the mix.

“The entire production – the cast and the show with its exquisite music, storytelling, and stunning special effects were absolutely superb!”
– Gail Anderson, Artistic Director, Surflight Theater, Beach Haven, NJ

“Much more than a night of nostalgia, Aztec Two-Step invite you into their living room for a personal retrospective on the music that influenced them – and an entire generation. A big winner and not just because they sold our place out.”
– David Lavalley. Director, Center for Arts, Natick, MA

“Audience favorite Aztec Two-Step wowed our venue with the premiere of their Simon & Garfunkel Songbook concert. On a warm Thanksgiving weekend, a sell-out crowd sang along nostalgically to S&G hits like Cecilia, Mrs. Robinson, and Hazy Shade of Winter to name just a few. There was an amazing atmosphere created from the combined love for Aztec Two-Step and the S&G canon that simply made the evening.”
– Scott Sheldon, Director, Sanctuary Concerts, Chatham, NJ
